From the moment my wife and I stepped through the door, we noticed... read more a new and compelling positive attitude on the part of the front desk staff. They were upbeat and friendly, and clearly enjoyed serving us. Dr. Firby may be new to Diamond Valley, but her confident manner showed that in addition to her formal training, she has learned the "soft skills" of putting her patients at ease, over a number of years. (In Olds, then Calgary, as it turns out.) I liked the way she didn't stay hidden away in her consulting room, but also came out to the main part of the office to interact with clients. I am 76 years old, and have been in many optometrist offices over the years. Comparing those experiences with the care I received today convinces me that I was in very good hands. My vision was unchanged from my last exam, but my wife needed new glasses. She selected very elegant frames that were included at no charge with the lenses she needed. Wow!

The glasses I receive are fantastic, and Dr. Boulet’s specialty in vision rehabilitation has helped me greatly with the vision issues impacting my academics that glasses alone couldn’t fix. The clinic also provides me with great ongoing medical care and monitoring locally. I truly feel valued and cared for as a patient at DVVC, by both doctor and staff. I can’t forget about Thomas the schnauzer, he is absolutely adorable.
